San Diego Comic-Con FREE at Home Version, Trek News?
Why do Trek Fans care about the biggest Comic-Con of the year? (Sorry New York) Because the powers that be over at CBS Viacom can’t keep it in there pants long enough to announce anything at STLV in Vegas. The biggest gathering of trekkies each and every year is usually only two weeks after the Comic-Con. Just about every major announcement for Trek in 2019 happened at the con. This is year is different in so many ways, I mean like the Bell riots came early and STLV is in December! At least we can all get out of the heat and not also, go to a place with even more heat. With all the changes this year San Diego Comic-Con decided to go the virtual route. Given what the last couple of Virtual cons looked like, I have no idea how you make this work. Neither does San Diego as they have only stated and I quote.
For the first time in our 50-year history, we are happy to welcome virtually anyone from around the globe. Though stay-at-home conditions makes this a very difficult time, we see this as an opportunity to spread some joy and strengthen our sense of community.

Yeah that was the extent of the details, other than it will be held from July 22nd to July 26th and its free to everyone.
And the link? on there website? Panel attendees? Announcements? No Clue.
You can bet that whatever new announcements CBS has for Trek, they will make it during the virtual 4 days right? Not so fast, they haven’t been able to make anything for four months now, almost 5 by the time of the con. Except Lower Decks. That’s my speculation, trailer time for Lower Decks and that will be it.
